Motivation for receiving the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences in Gothenburgs music prize in 2019
Ingrid Berg has already attracted attention for several roles, including Eurydike in Telemann's opera Orpheus at the Vadstena Academy in the summer of 2019. She is a soprano with unusual tonal precision and ability to express and captivate.
Barockens okrönta drottning
Review of the french baroque concert The uncrowned queen of baroque with Ingrid Berg as solosit together with ensemble Les Jardiniers at Gothenburg Concert Hall in Stenhammarsalen, November 2023
Göteborgsposten – Magnus Haglund
.Ingrid Berg brings out the free airy movements and
the rare melodic richness, not least in the interplay with the traverse flute during Odysseus's sleep, and the gentleness of the touch goes hand in hand with the lively sense of rhythm. What makes such a strong impression is the very transparency and precision of the virtuoso ornamented song phrases. It sounds dizzyingly easy, but is at the same time full of
reflection, sound dreaming, thought room."
Les enfants terribles
As Elisabeth in the Sweden premiere of Philip Glass dance opera Les enfants terribles based on a novel by J. Cocteau. Theatre Tribunalen, Stockholm June-July 2022, produced by the free opera company Kamraterna.

Here the elder sister is the game leader - intense in the luminous figure and voice of the soprano Ingrid Berg in which she dompters the brother, the baritone David Risberg.
Här är storasyster spelledare - intensiv i sopranen Ingrid Bergs självlysande gestalt och stämma där hon dompterar brodern, barytonen David Risberg.
The four young singers maintain an impressive level. The nail-proof soprano Ingrid Berg highlights the complex sides of Elisabeth
De fyra unga sångarna håller imponerande nivå. Spiksäkra sopranen Ingrid Berg lyfter fram de komplexa sidorna hos Elisabeth
Tidskriften OPERA – Bodil Hasselgren
The musical quality is high. The soprano Ingrid Berg and the baritone David Risberg fill their roles as Paul and Elisabeth with vocal brilliance and an acting that is constantly bordering on to madness (...) it's both fragile and beautiful, dirty and unpleasant.
"Den musikaliska kvaliteten är hög. Sopranen Ingrid Berg och barytonen David Risberg fyller sina roller som Paul och Elisabeth med vokal briljans och ett agerande som hela tiden ligger på gränsen till galenskap. Till en början har jag även känslan av att det är på gränsen till överspel, men det släpper fort och därefter är det både skört och vackert, smutsigt och obehagligt."
Idomene0s
Folkoperan Stockholm 2021. As Ilia in the guesting production Idomene0s with the opera company Kamraterna and the baroque orchestra Rebaroque. An experimental fusion between the modern play Idomeneus by R. Schimmelpfennig and W.A Mozarts opera Idomeneo.
DN – Johanna Paulsson
Here is a group of singers with full control of both sound and bodies in physical movement: Sibylle Glosted's leisurely climbing coloraturas, Ingrid Berg's equally appealing soprano sharpness, (...) Everyone and no one is a soloist in this web of voices. It is together - like a Greek choir - that they play the lead role.
SvD – Karin Helander
The sharpness is in the details. Like when Alexander Ohakas colors the text with temperament and a touch of humor. Or when the singers - Sibylle Glosteds and Ingrid Berg's crystal clear sopranos, Ulrika Skarby's more saturated mezzo, tenor Adam Frandsen's coloraturas and Markus Schwartz's bass baritone - through Mozart's music deepen emotions and states: love, horror, sadness.
Orpheus
As Eurydike in Telemanns opera Orpheus at Vadstena-Akademien 2019
Capriccio – Henry Larsson
... Ingrid Berg's Eurydike has lovely qualities in her voice
DN – Nicholas Ringskog Ferrada-Noli
Ingrid Berg is one with her role
Expressen – Thomas Mattsson
Richard Lindström's dynamic, temperamental baritone in the role of Orpheus, and Ingrid Berg's carefree Eurydike are a credible pair of opposites, differences are drawn to each other
SvD – Sofia Nyblom
Eurimede's bird aria with obligato recorder is lovely pastoral, and Eurydike's mourning song touchingly beautiful
Solen och Nordstjärnan
In various roles in the french Opéra-ballet The Sun and the Northern star Vadstena-Akademien 2018
DN – Nicholas Ringskog Ferrada-Noli
Among the singers, mezzo Annastina Malm, soprano Ingrid Berg and baritone Richard Lindström impress the most.
